Calibre Scientific Acquires Bioreba, a Swiss Provider of Plant Pathogen Diagnostic Test Kits and Services

Los Angeles, CA, (December 11, 2023) — Calibre Scientific is pleased to announce the acquisition of BIOREBA AG (“BIOREBA” or the “Company”), a Switzerland-based provider of plant pathogen diagnostic test kits and services, selling to diagnostic labs, universities, public and private research institutions and agricultural companies across the world. This strategic acquisition reinforces Calibre Scientific's commitment to expanding its product and service offering in the region.
BIOREBA is a premier provider in the plant pathogen diagnostics space with a diversified product portfolio that includes sample preparation and diagnostic tests for over 100 different pathogens affecting a wide range of crops including potato, grapevines, fruit trees, vegetables, ornamentals and field crops. In addition, BIOREBA also provides in-house diagnostic testing services for plant pathogens in the ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
