Calibre Scientific Acquires Conex Chromatography Systems, a UK Provider of Chromatography Instruments and Services

Los Angeles, CA, (August 28, 2024) — Calibre Scientific is pleased to announce the acquisition of Conex Chromatography Systems Limited (“Conex” or the “Company”), a provider of chromatography instruments, consumables, and services catering to life sciences, pharmaceutical, academic, petrochemical, nuclear energy, and the food and beverage industries across the UK and Ireland. This acquisition is additive to Calibre Scientific’s expanding portfolio of chromatography and services offerings.
For over two decades, Conex has provided its customers with a full suite of services including preventative maintenance, repair, customer training, installation, and performance verification for all major HPLC, GC, and IC equipment brands. In addition, the Company offers a wide range of chromatography instruments and consumables as well as mass spectrometers and spectrophotometers to its growing customer base.
The acquisition of Conex further enhances Calibre Scientific’s core chromatography instruments and services capabilities throughout the British Isles, and is complementary to its existing service capabilities in the region. “Conex brings a wealth of experience and a strong reputation in chromatography services, making them a perfect fit for our growing presence in the UK and Ireland,” said Ben Travis, Chief Executive Officer at Calibre Scientific. “This acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver superior service and support to our customers in these markets.”
