Brian Wall
Brian founded StoneCalibre in late 2012 with the goal of creating a private investment company focused on building a portfolio of high-calibre companies operating in the lower middle market. Brian has completed numerous investments across a wide variety of industry sectors including transportation and logistics, software and technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, business services, and healthcare. Prior to founding StoneCalibre, as a long-time Partner at Platinum Equity, Brian was responsible for building Platinum’s European M&A operations as well as its lower middle market investment team known as the Platinum Vintage Group. During his tenure, he led acquisitions of companies from global Fortune 500 corporations, entrepreneurs, and the public equity markets.
Prior to his private equity career, Brian was an acquisition officer for the U.S. Air Force, responsible for acquiring mission-critical satellites from government contractors in support of the Department of Defense.
